Vining Tomatoes for Sauce

AMISH

A roma style tomato that produce large, heavy fruit that will produce the richest sauces and thickest pastes. The deep red flesh is firm, not too juicy and the taste is a fine balance between sweet and rich. The plants have a long growing season and will produce bountiful yields of flavourful fruit until late fall. Vines often reach over 6 feet and will require heavy staking for support.

POLISH

This good-tasting heirloom tomato from Poland that is great for processing. The Polish Paste tomato produces pear-shaped fruits 12-14 oz in weight and matures in about 90 days. Big indeterminate plants that will give generously if fed well. The flesh is dry, processes well and is a really excellent choice for the home canner.
